New technology has enabeled production of these sintered, continuous rim diamond blades with a rim depth that is 40% higher than most blades which will make them last 40% longer! To accomplish this higher rim depth, new bonds had to be created. A new technique to properly orient the diamond particles is also used. Orienting the diamond creates faster cutting and longer blade life. Add all that to the fact that the diamond concentration in these blades is one of the highest in the industry and you really do get an Advantage blade. Although we recommend using mineral seal oils for lubricant on any diamond blade, the Advantage blades are designed to work well with a water based lube with an additive such as the Lube Cool.
