Lodolite is a variety of quartz with inclusions of chlorite, iron and calcite. These minerals decorate the colorless stone with green, pink, yellow, brown, white and red. Their patterns have been compared to moss and an underwater scene. Lodolite is found in only one location, the Minas Gerais area of Brazil.
